Description
The Castle in the Sand Hotel is your perfect choice for a seaside vacation. Ideally located at water's edge of the Atlantic Ocean on the sparkling white beach of Ocean City, Maryland. Three oceanfront buildings offer a variety of accommodations including suites, rooms, and efficiencies, all with refrigerators and coffee makers. Relax on the beach or around our large Olympic size outdoor pool while our beach waitresses take your orders for food and beverage (in season only). The Beach House is a seasonal full service restaurant along with Coconuts outdoor Bar and Grill. The Castle is just 10 blocks from Ocean City's famous Boardwalk, close to shopping and other attractions. NO charge for fabulous sunrises.

Oceanfront Efficiency
Large one room efficiency with 2 double beds, small kitchenette, private oceanfront balcony, TV with HBO,VCR and DVD. Units on the first floor are very convenient but their view is partially blocked by the natural sand dune.

One bedroom suite on the 2nd or 3rd floor with one Queen bed in bedroom, double sleep sofa in living room, kitchen, bath, and balcony with an ocean view. This is a 2 story walk-up. NO elevator

One bedroom suite on the 1st floor with one Queen bed in bedroom, double sleep sofa in living room, kitchen, bath(some with showers only) and a porch that faces our patio. Very convenient to pool and beach.

Deposit: A deposit of one(1) nights stay is required and will be charged at time of booking. The deposit is held as a guarantee for the entire length of your stay. There is no refund for early departure. Cancellation: We require 14 days(2weeks) notice for cancellation or changes to your reservation. If less than 2 weeks cancellation notification is given the deposit is forfeit. This policy is firm. NO pets are allowed at any time. All rates are based on double occupancy, children 11 and under are free. Additional adults or children 12 or older are chaged $8.00 per night plus tax. A valid credit card in the name of the registered guest is required at check in for security guarantee and incidentals. Otherwise a $300.00 cash security deposit is required. All unrelated persons must present a valid photo I.D. at check in. No one under the age of 18 will be checked in without written parental consent and valid credit card. Check in time is after 3:00 PM for the oceanfront buildings and 4:00 PM for cottages and condominiums. Check out time is 11:00 AM

it was really great. the castle in the sand is very nice for price, my kids and myself just wanted a late summer long weekend and we had a wonderful time
