One night stay
We booked here because this was the only hotel not requiring a two-night minimum. Upon arrival we were loudly greeted by other "guests" yelling from their balconies. The front desk clerks were very helpful. The room was quite small, but adequate for 2 adults and one small child. The room stunk of disinfectant. Fortunately, we had other obligations that kept us away for most of our stay. Wish we had been aware of the shortage of towels. we made due, but...

good price for a short get-away
we stayed on the bay side. Our 3rd floor balcony was very nice and semiprivate from our neighbors. The room was clean and plenty of fresh towels for the two of us. The hallways echo, so please don't talk loud at 2am when coming in from the night or allow your door to SLAM shut. It is within walking distance to restaurants or nite-time entertainment. We had a nice time.

Ses Bay review
The hotel is at such a great location smack in the middle of town. Our room was always nicely cleaned, but unfortunately smelled like sewage every time we walked in. We were in the West building closest to the bay and I wasn't particularly impressed - but still, the room size was nice and suited us nicely. The main problem we had were the amount of times we had to get new room keys. We had 4 different sets because they stopped working on our door every day in the afternoon. The staff was very nice about it, but not apologetic at all. The worst part was each time we had to walk over to the main building then back to our room with the new sets of keys. Overall, I enjoyed our stay but I would probably look for another hotel on our next visit.

The hotel was fine but there were some noisy neighbors that didn't begin to vocalize until midnight. The room served it's purpose, we had a bed and a shower. The cafe was reasonable.

WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD!

Great Family Vacation

Truth in Advertising!
Immediately upon arrival, we noticed the main building has a sign that reads “Sea Bay Hotel.” Then we noticed the building we stayed at has a sign that reads “Motel.” The room was clean, but without the amenities we’re used to having. The main hall has an old smell of cigarette smoke, mold, mildew, and cheap deodorizer. Also, you can hear a pin drop - - from three rooms away. With that said, the location is great and the staff courteous. Sorry, but we’ll never stay there again.

My over all stay at the Sea Bay Hotel was Great! the staff were very friendly and offer assistant. My room was not that bad (except for it wasn't cleaned properly)...I'm a bit OCD so I noticed the hairs that was there when i arrived and was there when I left, the floor never done, and I even tried to make thing easier for them by putting used items in the middle of the floor...oh well..."NO TIP WAS LEFT"......other than that,going all over doing all sort of things, WE worn ourselves out. We jet ski for the first time and OMG!!! I want to do it again. We wanted to go Parasailing but Chicken-OUT...ok I did....lol...maybe next time, we had such a great time We stayed an extra day for the Water Park, but it rained...it's ok WE went to the SEA FOOD All You Eat and just enjoyed our self there..the fun just didn't seem to STOP, "WE DIDN'T LET IT!'.... WE had a GREAT TIME! and now we are looking forward to "NEXT YEAR"

Horrible Room
The Seabay Hotel was awful. The room was not clean - I had to call the front desk for someone to vacuum it. We never had enough towels or toilet paper. I always had to go to the front desk to pick up enough supplies. The room was not "as promised" by the website that we reviewed. The "view" was not a good one and we ended up having to switch rooms because the first one was so dirty and so small. We even had problems with the toilet itself not flushing properly. One of the Managers, Jim, was wonderful and tried so hard to fix things. He went "above and beyond" the call of duty. And the staff was friendly. But the hotel itself and the cleanliness was sub-standard. I will never stay there again.

Great Stay at the Sea Bay
Huge rooms, friendly staff, good location, great value!! Not the fanciest hotel, but the room size which had a sitting area with a pull out sofa was awesome. Typical 2-3 star "quality inn" type place generic art 80's wall paper, but if you come to ocean city for the beach and other recreation who really cares about hotel cosmetics. It was clean and I felt comfortable letting my toddler walk around with bare feet. New pillows which are always a plus. Loved that the room had a fridge and microwave so we could spend a little more on activities and cut down on food money. We had a great view of the pool which was nice. I thought it a plus that it was only 5ft at the deepest point. Also the hotel is right in the middle of ocean city so nothing was very far away. We had a wonderful trip, and would definitely stay here again!!

July 4th in OC
Front desk staff were very good and maintenance was quick to fix problems right away. We were there for the holiday weekend as a quick getaway. Loud neighbors beside us and above us kept us awake. Otherwise, it was good.

Quick Getaway From DC
The hotel was very nice. Far enough away from the Boardwalk where all of the action is all n ight, and close enough where a short drive and you can be at the boardwalk. The beach was only a short walk across the street. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We would recommend to everyone.

The rooms are spacious and give ample room for people with small children to run around. The rooms were clean and had your basic amenities. I was a good value for the time of year that we were traveling. We also booked last minute and they were very accomodating.

Nice Hotel
I have only one complaint about the Sea Bay - they charge your credit card as soon as you book the hotel. I wanted to pay in cash, which I took with me but was unable to since it had already been charged to my card. I would have appreciated a choice. Other than that and a few repairs they are obviously making to the hotel, the visit was quite nice and extremely close to Fager's, which is where we spent the evening listing to an awesome band - The Loop. www.theloopband.com
