For all rates $69 and below a daily towel service is provided. For all rates $70 daily full houskeeping service is provided. We like the location and will continue to stay there when visiting Sunfest. We parked our Van there when we arrived and didn't move it until we left. The bus picks up right in front of the Hotel. It was a little pricy for not having a restaurant and working ice machine, but the front desk staff was very helpful. We found the restaraunt guide book very helpful. I gave it a 4 for cleanliness because our coffee mugs were not clean, but the front desk brought us new ones right away. We may consider their new location next year, The Suites. I will consider staying there again but will also check out neighboring hotels for a better price. However, upon my arrival, I was given a room with two doubles, and no jacuzzi. Keep in mind that one night charge was already charged to my credit card, and everything on the boardwalk was booked! The front desk attendant was very apologetic; however, it did not solve the room problem. Staff made several attempts to notify the general manager, but he never responded to the call. The room was extremely hot, because they do not turn on the a/c before the guest arrives to save on utility cost, so after not getting the room we reserved, we had to wonder about until the room cooled off.
Management blames the mix up with the reservation on the third party, but I disagree. This is not a chain hotel, and I'm sure that the bulk of the traffic/reservations is through the third party.
After speaking with other guests, I found out that we were not the only one this happened to. So I wonder, if this the practice of the hotel to accept reservations knowing that they will not fulfill there part of the agreement?
