The outside facade of the building was crumbling; the maids only did what was absolutely necessary...(there was the same trash in the hallway outside for the entire 3 days. When we called asking for more towels (2x in 4 hours), we had to go downstairs and get them ourselves. The outside pool was this scary green filmy color...and the inside pool was very dirty. Best of all...when I checked out, they charged me a completely different rate than what was quoted to me. I argued with them, but have yet to still receive a refund in over $150 extra that they charged. Make SURE you bring a printout of whatever you were quoted! For the price the room was average. I expected a little more for the top dollar I paid. The best part of the hotel was the view. They missed on a lot of little details that could have made our stay better. The bathroom while very pretty...[more]

The bathroom while very pretty was extremely small. The TV was mounted over the dresser and a mirror was over the table. You could only watch TV from bed not the couch and the mirror was useless. The front desk clerk was polite but not friendly or forthcoming with info. They have a parking garage four or five stories tall with no elevator!! When we check in there were no carts available and no one to assist with bags. We had to park on the top and drag everything down!! The pools looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that we no longer received complimentary passes to Jolly Roger park. That was definitely an incentive to stay at the Ho Jo. I went to call and the phone did not work then I went down stairs to ask about a new room the front desk person would not even look to see if there was anyway we could change he just said no. The bathroom door would not close the hinge was broken. There was stuff in the bottom of the tub.
