Located where the Inlet meets the bay, the Oceanic Motel is the perfect place to spend your vacation. Visit our lengthy fishing pier that extends out into the crisp blue water. Cast your line, get comfortable and calmly wait for a bite while the fishing and pleasure vessels pass through the inlet on their voyage to and from the vast Atlantic Ocean. When you want to enjoy the wide, sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, it's simply a walk away. Within walking distance you will find the boardwalk amusements, shops, restaurants, night clubs, marinas and churches. The Oceanic Motel... what a catch!

Deposit of 1 night's room and tax due at time of reservation. Deposit is fully refundable for cancellations or changes made more than 72 hours prior to arrival. Deposit is non-refundable for cancellations or changes made within 72 hours of arrival. Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. No exceptions can be made to the maximum occupancy of a given room type. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Great Place for the Value

If you are looking for a place just to stay for a couple of nights and not wanting anything luxury. Then this is the place. Got the room for less than $40 a night. Not the cleanest in floor but everything else was. Bed was extremely comfortable. TV was okay nothing great especially since you had to get up to adjust the volume. But other than I would stay again next time I am in Ocean City.

A surprising switch to another hotel

We reserved a room at the Oceanic, but they called us back and stated the Oceanic was booked. They put us at a sister hotel - the Harrison Hall. The rates from the Oceanic were honored at the Harrison Hall which was enough to compensate for the somewhat dirty and outdated room at the Harrison Hall. Some nice features were added to this room, but the beds were worn-out. The pool was very nice, but it could use a hot tub.

very good place to stay,could use detail cleaning aircond grates, vacuum,blinds,floors ,furniture.Iknow you don't stay in room but with a little work you could have a four star hotel.

When they say small, they mean it

Upon arrival there was very little parking available. When I asked the clerk about parking she indicated that a lot of spots were probably taken by people fishing from the pier. I did find a place to park, but it wasn't in an actual parking spot. The room was very, very, very small. The bathroom was even smaller. We could not bend over the sink to wash our face without our butts hitting the wall behind us. Did I mention the room was small. Small is an understatement. It is no wonder they don't show pictures. Our reservation was for two nights, but we left after one because it was so bad. But don't expect a refund. I would never stay at the Oceanic Motel again.

we really enjoyed our vacation.oceanic hotel is a good place to stay.it could have been better, but for the great value that we got, it surely is enough for us.we will definitely come back here for our next trip to ocean city.
