It was a 4 hour drive from PA to Ocean city, MD. I overall hated the beds and the view from the bay stunk because a big pink hotel was in the way. The rooms were old fashioned and the rug was terrible (looked as if it was from the 1970's). Other than that, the rate of the room was cheap at the time but a total waste of money. I on the other hand was sick all that week maybe because the room was so cold at night without the air conditioner on. Anyway, the crab buffet on the first floor is open at 7 oclock at night (so convinient) and the Finnegans bar was pretty nice but the people who go to the bar in the hotel like to be obnoxious at night and keep the whole building up so you don't get that much sleep. The pool on the roof in the other building was nice but not worth seeing in person along with the indoor pool near the crab buffet in the original building. The gameroom was three little game machines located near the indoor pool in which was not even enclosed to even be considered a game room. Also, the front desk staff seemed very obnoxious and self centered people in which wouldn't even say "hi" to you because they are so into themselves. Following so, the hotel was 20 some blocks away from the beginning of the boardwalk but the bus was perfectly fine to use for 2 dollars all day (to and from destination). Finally, if your willing to spend a whole lot of money for food, supplies, etc. I recommend you stay at ocean city because it is very pricey for each and everything. Even fast food restaurants were expensive (rediculous prices for a vacation destination). Anyway, I don't recommend anyone to stay at Princess Bayside unless your willing to just throw money away, etc. I'd rather vacation closer to home than to spend all my savings at a phony vacation spot. Thanks for your time, I hope this review helps you out. ~TJ[collapse]Submitted by Thomas H., Pennsylvania, on July 16, 2008.

We spent Saturday on the beach, which was just a quick cross of the highway. The hotel is basically right next to Seacret's which is a nice touch. You can walk to a busy club and not have to worry about driving back. (If that's your sort of thing) Overall, it was a great stay...the weather was great....the band was great![collapse]Submitted by Anthony F., Virginia, on July 14, 2008.
