* Remember, kids 12 and under stay free.
* Persons over age 12 are considered adults and extra occupants over 12 are $15 daily per person, plus tax.
* All of the suites are beautifully appointed with daily maid service including linens.
* Rates are based on 2 adults per suite per day, 4 adults per two bedroom condo per day or 6 adults per three bedroom condo per day.
* All rates are based on availability, subject to change and do not include taxes or gratuities.
* Check-in after 4:00pm; Check-out before 11:00am. Any checkout after 11:00am will result in additional charges. Rooms are not guaranteed until after 4:00pm.
* Specific room types, bedding and special requests including non-smoking and near other parties may be requested, but are not guaranteed. Specific suite numbers as well as suite types & bedding requests cannot be guaranteed. Every attempt will be made to honor these special requests. In the event that the specified room type is not available, the next available room type will be assigned.
* All suites are equipped with an electronic safe for your protection. A nominal fee of 99¢ per day will be automatically charged to your bill regardless of use.
* Deposits: A deposit is required when making a reservation. If your deposit has not been received, reservation is subject to automatic cancellation.
* Suites:Reservation for 1-3 nights requires one night's payment in advance; four nights or more requires a 1/3 of total stay as an advance deposit, to be received at the hotel within 7 days of making reservation. No personal checks. Credit cards used to guarantee the reservations are charged are charged at the time the reservation is made for the required deposit. Balance is due upon arrival. Must present credit card used for advance deposit upon check-in. No personal checks for payment of balance.
* Condos:All summer weekly condo reservations must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival date. A 50% deposit is due at the time of reservation.
* Deposits are non-transferable.
* Cancellation Policy: If notice of date changes or cancellations are not received prior to the date of arrival, as indicated below, your deposit will be forfeited. A cancellation number must also be obtained in order to receive a refund (inclement weather is not a valid reason for refund):
o 72 hours notice for group reservations
o 7 days notice for transient reservations
o 14 days notice for golf reservations
o 30 days notice for any condo reservation
* Cots and cribs are $15 per night, subject to availability.
* Sorry, no pets.
* Covered parking is available at no charge.
* No refunds for early departure.
* Reservations being made less than 7 days prior to arrival are non cancellable and are non refundable.
* The Maryland General Assembly passed a bill that became effective as of October 2, 2002. We have incorporated this bill into our policy as follows:
o Individuals under the age of 18 are required to provide a $500.00 cash security deposit upon check-in. This is in addition to the advance deposit required to make the reservation.
o Upon check-out, the room will be inspected. If there is no damage nor additional cleaning required, the $500.00 security deposit will be refunded. If damage is present and/or additional cleaning is required, the amount (at the discretion of the manager) will be subtracted from the security deposit. If the damage is less than $500.00, the difference will be refunded. If the amount of damage exceeds $500.00, the deposit will be forfeited and the local authorities will be contacted.
* All reservation cancellations, regardless of when you are traveling are subject to a non-refundable cancellation fee of $25 per room.

It was a nice atmosphere and hotel but do not know if we will return. We usually go to Myrtle Beach, but have a little one and choose to stay closer to home. The hotels do not even compare to the ones done there, you get more for your money!!

I liked the Temperpedic mattress.
I hated the pool because of the followings.
- all beach traffic were directed to the 2nd floor through the pool area.
- it feel like the pool is for those people who stayed at the pool side rooms.
It was a great dis-appointment for the closure of the mini-golf court. The sign in elevator should be removed.
The shower was really great, but the all water drainage system seems to be very poor that might be the result of bringing beach sand into rooms. The bath sink, kitchen sink, and toilet all seem to be malfunctioning.
At last the parking lots were very poorly designed.

I have stayed at this hotel before. The suite was clean and sufficient. Customer service could use some help. I told registration I was paying for my stay with cash. The young lady immediately ran my credit card through and announced that it had declined! I repeated that I was paying with cash. I was also not allowed to use a coupon I had printed from their website because I had booked through this one. It was only $25, and there were no restrictions on the coupon stating where the hotel had to be booked. They should have just let us use it. It was also difficult just getting coffee to go with the coffee maker in the room. The gentleman seemed annoyed with my request at the front desk. He gave me the coffee, and when I asked about cream and sugar, he went into the office and never returned! This is all silly stuff but it can really affect your stay. Our housekeeper Ana was outstanding!

"Thank you for your comments. If a credit card is presented at check in it must be able to be authorized as our guests may charge food, beverages, movies & other items to their bills. However, cash may certainly be presented at check out when an approved credit card is presented at check in. Otherwise, the cash would need to be presented at check in.

With regard to our coupon, I regret to inform that it, in fact, does clearly state what websites the reservation must be booked on in order for the coupon to be valid. The coupon can be viewed at http://www.princessroyale.com/specials_coupons.php. Is summary, the coupon in not valid on commissionable reservation sites.

Finally, I am sorry that it was not explained to you however the coffee packets that are provided to our guests already contain the condiments that you needed.

Please note that, as it is mid June, most of or staff have just arrived this week and are in the beginning of their training. However, we will certainly use your concern to continue their training.

Thank you again for taking the time to make us aware of your concerns. On our website there is a coupon for a future complimntary off season Thursday or Sunday evening when paying for a Friday or Saturday evening; (please note restrictions on the actual coupon). Therefore, I hope that on you next trip to Ocean City you will allow us the opportunity to once again serve your hospitality needs.
