*SMOKE FREE HOTEL (as of February 1, 2008)
* Remember, kids 12 and under stay free.
* Persons over age 12 are considered adults and extra occupants over 12 are $15 daily per person, plus tax.
* All of the suites are beautifully appointed with daily maid service including linens.
* Rates are based on 2 adults per suite per day, 4 adults per two bedroom condo per day or 6 adults per three bedroom condo per day.
* All rates are based on availability, subject to change and do not include taxes or gratuities.
* Check-in after 4:00pm; Check-out before 11:00am. Any checkout after 11:00am will result in additional charges. Rooms are not guaranteed until after 4:00pm.
* Specific room types, bedding and special requests including non-smoking and near other parties may be requested, but are not guaranteed. Specific suite numbers as well as suite types & bedding requests cannot be guaranteed. Every attempt will be made to honor these special requests. In the event that the specified room type is not available, the next available room type will be assigned.
* All suites are equipped with an electronic safe for your protection. A nominal fee of 99¢ per day will be automatically charged to your bill regardless of use.
* Deposits: A deposit is required when making a reservation. If your deposit has not been received, reservation is subject to automatic cancellation.
* Suites:Reservation for 1-3 nights requires one night's payment in advance; four nights or more requires a 1/3 of total stay as an advance deposit, to be received at the hotel within 7 days of making reservation. No personal checks. Credit cards used to guarantee the reservations are charged are charged at the time the reservation is made for the required deposit. Balance is due upon arrival. Must present credit card used for advance deposit upon check-in. No personal checks for payment of balance.
* Condos:All summer weekly condo reservations must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival date. A 50% deposit is due at the time of reservation.
* Deposits are non-transferable.
* Cancellation Policy: If notice of date changes or cancellations are not received prior to the date of arrival, as indicated below, your deposit will be forfeited. A cancellation number must also be obtained in order to receive a refund (inclement weather is not a valid reason for refund):
o 72 hours notice for group reservations
o 7 days notice for transient reservations
o 14 days notice for golf reservations
o 30 days notice for any condo reservation
* Cots and cribs are $15 per night, subject to availability.
* Sorry, no pets.
* Covered parking is available at no charge.
* No refunds for early departure.
* Reservations being made less than 7 days prior to arrival are non cancellable and are non refundable.
* The Maryland General Assembly passed a bill that became effective as of October 2, 2002. We have incorporated this bill into our policy as follows:
o Individuals under the age of 18 are required to provide a $500.00 cash security deposit upon check-in. This is in addition to the advance deposit required to make the reservation.
o Upon check-out, the room will be inspected. If there is no damage nor additional cleaning required, the $500.00 security deposit will be refunded. If damage is present and/or additional cleaning is required, the amount (at the discretion of the manager) will be subtracted from the security deposit. If the damage is less than $500.00, the difference will be refunded. If the amount of damage exceeds $500.00, the deposit will be forfeited and the local authorities will be contacted.
* All reservation cancellations, regardless of when you are traveling are subject to a non-refundable cancellation fee of $25 per room.

Valentines Day Stay

Room was exceptional. View of the pool was excellent. Cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to normal standards.-bathtub, sink area and floor did not look clean.

my stay at the princess royale

I run a group home in Columbia,Md., with young men with Autism, so this was business, and a vacation, DDa requires that the guy go on at least 1 vacation a year with us and hopefully there family's.Well John and I loved the room, we really loved our view, we over looked the in-door pool, to our left was the ocean view it was breath taking, when we got home I told every one about the view and told all the other group homes about the hotel and the service, we have 10 group homes in all, the first night we had room service, the food came with in 25
minutes, it was hot, it was very good, and enough for 4 people instead of 2.I have never been to ocean city, I'm from Orlando Fl.,I've
been in Maryland 5 years, we drove down Coastal blvd.,loved the sights, it was off season
so it was not crowded, that was perfect for John
I did not get to enjoy the sea food, maybe next time, I will come back with my family and my
clients any time, I loved the beds, the only thing
I think you all need are more trash can in the rooms, the bell man was very nice to John and I coming in and going out, the breakfast was great, we enjoyed our stay with you.

Wonderful

I've been going to OC since I was a baby and we've stayed at 6 different hotels over the past almost 40 years. We were looking for a room that offered a seperate bedroom/living room and a kitchen so we could cook Thanksgiving dinner. I also wanted a room with a balcony, but since it was November I was afraid it would be too cold to sit out. The Princess Royale offers indoor balconies overlooking the pool/atrium. This worked out great for me as it offered a view of the ocean and the pool in the warmth! The pool is very big for an indoor pool, although the water was a little chilly. The room we stayed in had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a 2-burner stove-top, a microwave, sink and dishwasher. These amenities worked out great for making Thanksgiving day dinner. The bathroom was very large and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Upon checking in, we arrived about an hour early but were able to check in immediately, our bags were unloaded and put on a valet cart by a very friendly and welcoming valet. This is a service that I haven't experienced at any other OC hotel. When we checked out, the same service was offered, the valet came to our room with the cart, loaded everything for us and took it to our van. I would definatly stay at the Princess Royale again!
