Sea Cove Motel: "Never stay again"

The room was mugy and smelled. There was sand in the bed and the list goes on. Simply I don't recommend this place[collapse]Submitted by michael f., New York, on July 8, 2009.

However, even considering that it was a holiday weekend, I thought the room was overpriced for the value it really offered (no pool, no free coffee, for instance). I've been able to get a lot more for that kind of money. Otherwise, the stay was fine.[collapse]Submitted by Maria P., Maryland, on July 6, 2009.

For starters this was a great location, it is at the beginning of the boardwalk off of 28th street. We felt very part of the action and felt it was a very good place to be. You walk over one block and your at the beach! The hotel room was very clean but very basic, so if you are a floofy floofy "Paris Hilton" type of person you will want to stay elsewhere. There is a 24 hr 7-11 right across the street and many others restaurants within walking distance. There were young adults who were there to party, but I brought ear plugs and slept fine. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and fantastic. The room also had a new A/C unit which worked too great, we had to turn it off because it got too cold. We paid $130 for a 2 double bed room that came with a microwave and mini fridge. No bugs, our room was promptly cleaned, no problems! I would have to say that after reading the previous reviews the motel has made some clear changes within the past year. This was our first trip to Ocean City and the Sea Cove Motel helped to make it a memorable experience![collapse]Submitted by Dana P., Virginia, on June 29, 2009.
