OCEAN CITY

Liked location - less than 1 block to boardwalk & beach right in front of hotel. Walking distances to restaurants. Room size was nice - not crowded and it was kept clean. Hotel is older & thought price a little high for condition - faucets leaked and the beachfront rooms have AC units that drip on to porch & if buckets aren't maintained (dumped out) regularly the water drips down on to porch below splashing you if you're standing or sitting outside the room. Parking is a 1/2 block away if small parking lot behind hotel is full.

The Seabonay Motel is an older motel. Though it does show, it is basically neat and clean. If you want a place for a good price this would be it. Now your just getting the basics here, nothing fancy. But you can't beat the view if you get ocean front. Also the boardwalk is just 35 feet away. A very good location that can't be beat for the price. Now you do have dunes ocean view which gives it a natural appeal and a short walk to the beach which is great. I would not recommend the inner rooms unless you must save the extra cash. The balcony is made of wood and is shared also as a common walk by that lets you know this place was built in the 50's. Not really a problem if your just looking for some beds that are clean and a basic room that is clean but shows its age with air conditioning and comcast cable. The TV is basic tube and gets enough channels but could not get sound for HBO. The bathroom is small and aged but is basically clean. Nothing to brag about but it does the job. So in a nutshell location; location; location + view.

Room was clean and well stocked. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Just a few steps from the beach. Nice pool. Would stay there again.

For an older hotel it was fine. The price was really good and the customer service was great, but don't expect a 4star hotel.

The rooms were great for the price. We didn't spend alot of time in our rooms, so we didnt need much more then a place to sleep. TV was fine for the small amount that we watched. Had fun in the pool. Staff was pleasant. Will go back.
